Recently, the Indian Cricket Team competed in the World Test Championship final and finished on the losing end. Let’s examine the player who, if India wants to win the trophy, shouldn’t be on the team for the WTC Cycle 2023–2025.
KL Rahul is one of the most highly regarded opening batters in India’s next generation. He is a tall, graceful right-hand hitter who can keep wicket in a pinch. One of the best openers has just one flaw and that he is inconsistent and doesn’t fit in the team throughout the course of the entire competition.
One of the few bowlers from India with a great international reputation is Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah stood out from the crowd because of his lightning-quick pace and pinpoint accuracy in line, which set him apart from every other bowler who has represented India. His single weakness is his lack of physical condition, which prevents him from serving the nation for longer and keeps him out of the squad.
A muscular man Umesh Yadav, an Indian fast bowler, is a competent bowler for India. He has a few times helped India win a game. He has recently played just one test match, but he was unable to give India any back throughs, and the most of the time, he performs at his peak at home, thus he is not eligible for the team.
K S Bharat
K S Bharat has been a good Pant substitute in recent years. His talent behind the wicket is above average, but his batting needs improvement. He doesn’t fit in the team since his hitting lacks precision and he struggles to provide that finishing touch when batting lower in the order.
Surya Kumar Yadav
Surya Kumar Yadav, a T20 specialist, is the best player in the Indian team right now. He can play with a strike rate higher than 200. He didn’t play much in the Test Match, therefore in the near future, it would be better to use him in the fastest formats of T20 and ODI. The only thing that worries me is how late he joined the team. He already has a mid-30s age and a fast-paced playing style, thus he doesn’t belong in the group.
