Akash Madhwal

Akash Madhwal is an Indian cricket player who was born on November 25, 1993. In the Indian state of Uttarakhand, in the city of Roorkee, he was born.

Akash Madhwal attended Roorkee Public Senior Secondary School in Uttarakhand for his elementary and secondary schooling. He then pursued a degree in civil engineering and was able to finish it. With the help of neighborhood cricket teams in Roorkee, Akash developed his bowling abilities. His natural ability to strike the stumps with his ball rapidly earned him a reputation in the local cricket scene.

On November 8th, 2019, he played his first Twenty20 match for Uttarakhand in the 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. On December 25, 2019, he played his maiden game for Uttarakhand in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy. On February 21, 2021, he made his List A debut for Uttarakhand in the 2020–2021 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He made his List A debut on February 21, 2021, against the Meghalaya team. Since then, he has had the opportunity to participate in 17 List A matches, during which he has taken 18 wickets while allowing runs at an economy rate of 4.88.
At the match between Uttarakhand and Odisha in Cuttack on December 25, 2019, he made his first-class cricket debut. And he has had the opportunity to participate in 10 FC matches to now, during which he has taken 12 wickets while allowing runs at a 3.38 economy.

IPL Career and Statistics

In terms of Akash Madhwal’s IPL career, Mumbai Indians (MI) signed him for the first time with a base salary of 20 lakhs for the 2023 IPL season.

And against Punjab Kings on May 3, 2023, he made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians. In which he allowed 37 runs in his three over of bowling. His five wickets for five runs in 3.3 overs is his best bowling performance in the IPL against LSG.
