It is anticipated that an announcement would be made following the meeting of the Asian boards on May 28 in Ahmedabad, which will take place concurrently with the summit match.
“The Tata IPL 2023 final, which will be played on May 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, will be attended by the respective presidents of the Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka Cricket Boards. The future course of action in connection to the Asia Cup 2023 would be discussed with them, according to Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary and head of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

What is Hybrid Format Put Forth by the PCB

India would play its games in the UAE under the hybrid format put forth by the PCB, which was chosen as the Asia Cup’s official host nation. Matches would be split between Pakistan and the UAE. The BCCI disputed the idea, and the PCB chairman Najam Sethi subsequently put out a watered-down version with only four games to be held in Pakistan and the remainder in the UAE.
