Jaiswal has recently been performing at his best. In 14 innings of IPL 2023 for the Rajasthan Royals, he scored 625 runs, including five fifty-sevens and a century. Jaiswal has an impressive first-class record, with 1845 runs in 15 matches at an average of 80.21 with nine hundreds and two fifties, despite not having played for India in any format as of yet.

He confirmed his inclusion in the Indian Team as a standby player and his journey to England for the World T20 Final against Australia by posting a photo of himself with captain Rohit Sharma from inside the plane on Instagram.
