Cummins was the Hero of Ashes Win

On Tuesday, Cummins was the main character. Australia was in jeopardy when he took the field because 72 more points were needed for victory and the number of available wickets was dwindling. But not Cummins, who scored 14 runs off Joe Root‘s subsequent over to eliminate the possibility of a tie match. On day five in Birmingham, Cummins was the hero for Australia, striking an undefeated 44 as the visitors pulled off an incredible chase of 281 to win the series.
