Former Australia Captain Ricky Ponting Criticizes Ollie Robinson’s Behavior in the Ashes

The former captain of Australia disputes the notion that England is not motivated by performance. Ollie Robinson Sledged Khwaja After Taking Wicket

Khawaja  was dismissed for 141 on the third morning of the Test by Robinson, who had knocked back his off stump as Khawaja was attempting to force the ball through the off side. Robinson appeared to be telling Khawaja to “F*** off, you f***ing prick” as he shouted in celebration in Khawaja’s direction.

For the remainder of the Test, Ponting kept quiet about the situation while providing analysis for Sky Sports, but on Wednesday, he scolded Robinson on the ICC Review Podcast. This England cricket team hasn’t played against Australia, as I mentioned after Ollie Robinson said what he said. “They’ll find out pretty quickly what playing Ashes cricket and playing against a good Australian cricket team is all about,” Ponting said. And Robinson is a slow learner if he hasn’t already realised that after last week.

After the third day of play, the 29-year-old fast bowler was questioned about it in a tense press conference. He stated that he “doesn’t care” how Australia may see his actions.
