In the second innings, Andhra Pradesh’s batsmen again had a dreadful performance and were in trouble at 76/9 when Hanuma Vihari, who was injured, stepped outside to bat at No. 10.

In the second inning, he batted with a fractured left wrist and only used one hand to make contact. With the aid of three boundaries, the right-handed batter managed to score 15 runs off 16 balls during this time while only using one hand to control the bat in order to conceal a fractured wrist. Just four of Andhra’s 11 batsmen scored in double digits, and shockingly, Hanuma Vihari was among them.

Having made his last performance in July of the previous year against England in the delayed fifth test, Vihari is currently out of favour with the Indian side in the longest format. The batter is nonetheless upbeat about making a comeback.
