IND vs PAK: Guru Gary got angry on Pakistan players after defeat against India, told how the team lost the won match?

IND vs PAK: India has once again maintained its dominance over the neighboring country by defeating Pakistan in the World Cup. On Sunday, in the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian team performed brilliantly and defeated Pakistan by 6 runs. In the match against India, the Pakistan team could not even chase the target of 120 runs and could score only 113 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. After Pakistan’s defeat, all the players looked very disappointed. At the same time, Pak coach Gary Kirsten looked very angry with the team. He vented his anger on the players in the press conference.

IND vs PAK: Coach Gary Kirsten furious after Pakistan’s defeat

Gary Kirsten, who reached the press conference after the defeat to India, was asked whether his team put itself in a difficult situation in the match? Answering the question, Kirsten said ‘You are absolutely right. All of them are international players and everyone knows that when they are not performing at their best, they come under pressure and it can also be understood. But many of these players have played a lot of T20 cricket around the world for many years. So it depends on them how they take their game forward.’

‘Not rotating the strike proved costly..’

According to Pakistan’s head coach Gary Kirsten, the Pakistan team maintained a grip on the match for 15 overs while batting, but after that, the batsmen came under pressure due to the fall of wickets and they stopped rotating the strike. Which increased the problem.

Gary Kirsten said, ‘We gave the message to the batsmen to look for some boundaries and try to take advantage of the weak balls and make sure that you can score as many runs as possible during the innings. I think we did this job brilliantly for 15 overs. But then we lost wickets and we stopped scoring runs and started looking for boundaries. It is always difficult when you reach such a situation. So our message was to do what we have done for the last 15 overs.’
