They want to beat the Kent Spitfires, a visiting team, for the second time in a row at their home field. Shadab Khan will regrettably be unavailable for the aforementioned game. Shadab had already missed a few games earlier in the season as a result of an unfortunate circumstance. He and his teammate Nathan McAndrew were trying to take a catch when they got into a horrific collision during his Sussex debut last month. Shadab and McAndrew clashed as they both ran in from long off as they both attempted to grab the ball. Both fielders fell to the ground as a result of the collision and required emergency medical care.

Shadab has been an important player for Sussex this season despite these difficulties. He has played in eight T20 Blast games, taking six wickets and amassing a total of 107 runs in eight innings, including a half-century.
