Virat Claimed Smith as Top Batsman in Test
Australian batsman Steve Smith has been dubbed the best Test hitter of this generation by former India captain Virat Kohli. Prior to the World Test Championship Final, Kohli claimed that Smith stands out among batsmen from the last ten years in the Test format because to his consistency. A day before the competition’s first day, Kohli spoke to the broadcaster and made his remarks on Smith.

Everyone is aware of Smith’s record. He has an incredible average of 60 in 85 to 90 tests. He consistently and effectively scores runs, The 34-year-old Smith entered the WTC final with 8792 runs from 96 Tests at an average of 59.80 with 30 hundreds, and 37 fifties.
Since last month, Smith has been competing in England after joining Indian Cheteshwar Pujara at County side Sussex. Smith will play at the Ashes, which begin in England on June 16, after the WTC Final.
