Most effective fast bowler in the Powerplay of ICC T20 Internationals

As far as most wicket-taking fast bowling in the Powerplay of ICC T20 Internationals is concerned, Bhuvneshwar Kumar from team India stood on top of the list with 43 wickets in 74 innings with an outstanding economy of 5.63. He is famous for his magical swing bowling and is a formidable bowler for batters to play with. At his debut in 2012, Kumar produced swing both ways and had a devastating inswinger for team India.

He bowled Nasir Jamshed in his first T20I over and Mohammad Hafeez with his first ODI delivery. Furthermore, while playing his first Test series, he contributed to India’s first whitewash win against Australia in 2013.

He has the skills to showcase swing along with the new ball to the batsmen, which makes him take wickets in the powerplay in the T20 internationals. His devastating partnership with Jasprit Bumrah from 2017 and developing slower balls and Yorkers made him India’s go-to bowler at the death. He is currently a leading bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Uttar Pradesh in Indian domestic cricket.
