Mumbai Indians Roar Back With Three Consecutive Victories:

The Mumbai Indians have been one of the most consistent teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, the five-time IPL champions did not have the best of starts in IPL 2023; even in 2022, they finished last for the first time in IPL history. But now, they seem to be back on track with three consecutive wins.

After losing their first two matches against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians were under immense pressure to perform. They bounced back in style with a win against Dehli Capitals (DC), followed by victories against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). After having a disastrous season last year and a bad start to this season, MI have bounced back at the right time and will be hoping to continue their winning run. They are currently at sixth place in the points table with 6 points in five games.

Strong Middle-Order

While the Mumbai Indians do have their flaws, but their middle order is not one of them. Mumbai Indians’ middle order consists of Tilak Verma, Cameron Green, Tim David, and Suryakumar Yadav. The likes of Tilak Verma, Arjun Tendulkar, and Ishan Kishan have all stepped up and played crucial roles in Mumbai Indians’ recent wins. This bodes well for the team’s future, as they have a good mix of experienced and young players.Tilak Verma Mumbai Indians

Jofra Archer’s Availability

After losing Jaspirit Bumrah due to a back injury, MI were highly reliant on Jofra Archer to lead the bowling attack. Unfortunately, Jofra could only play the season’s first game before his elbow problem sidelined him for at least a week. He will be monitored once more before his fate for the rest of the season is decided.Jofra ArchersMumbai Indians seem to have found their groove after a shaky start to the IPL 2023. With a well-balanced team and some exciting young talents, they will be a force to reckon with in the coming matches. The return of Jofra Archer will only add to their strength.
