18 Run is Scored in One Ball is a Required
During the encounter between Chepauk Super Gillies and Salem Spartans, the Tamil Nadu Premier League witnessed history being made. Abhishek Tanwar, captain of the Spartans, threw the final legal ball of the 20th over of the innings, giving up 18 runs in the process. Tanwar, to be exact, had the most wickets in the TNPL 2022 season, but he had trouble getting into a groove against the Super Gillies. The opposition team posted a massive total of 217/5 on the board thanks to the 18-run last ball, scoring 26 runs in the last over.

Tanwar bowled a no-ball that the batter was bowled on with 19.5 overs remaining on the clock. The next pitch was followed by a no-ball that was also hit for a six, bringing the total runs to 8. The batters scored two more on the following ball, bringing the total to 11, which was also a no-ball. The next pitch turned out to be a wide delivery, bringing the tally to 12 runs. The final delivery, which was this time legitimate, was also hit for a six, bringing the total runs scored to 18.
This is the interesting record created overall to score 18 runs in a single delivery in TNPL and almost in any cricketing league.
