The Indian Premier League (IPL) is known for its exciting finishes, and that was the case on Sunday in Jaipur when Sunrisers Hyderabad won a last-ball thriller against Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royal led by Sanju Samson played against Sunrisers Hyderabad led by Aiden Makram where SRH won in the last ball against RR bowled by Sandeep Sharma. Sandeep delivered out of the line no ball in the last ball cost the team RR defeat.
Tweeter flooded on the unbelievable encounter
Tweeter could not believe what just they have seen. Sight was really engaging and unbelievable one. RR almost celebrated their win in the last ball when the TV empire called the last ball a no ball for over stepping and the match was still alive. In the re ball Abdul Samad smashed a brilliant six and won the match for the SRH.
T20 superstar for India, an all rounder Yousuf Pathan also could not resist himself on posting the highlight of the incredible last ball win. No Ball Cost the Match For RR
In the first Innings RR set the a matching winning target of 215. With the help of Jos Buttler ‘s 95 of 59 and Captain Samson’s 66 of 38 RR managed to score 214. In any given day that was an enough target to defend in t20 for any team. But SRH has other plans, opener duo Anmolpreet and Abhishek Sharma score 51 runs opening partnership in just 35 balls. Rahul Tripathi and Heinrich also scored quick 47 of 29 and 26 of 12 respectively. Cameo of Glenn Philips, 25 of just 7 deliveries took SRH close to the target.
17 of last over and Sandeep Sharma who defended against MSD in the previous game had the job to finish. Sandeep spell was excellent and 5 runs were needed in the last ball. Abdul Samad hit to the long on and gave his wicket and RR started celebrating their win when TV empire decleared the delivery a no ball. Sandeep Sharma’s re ball was smashed for 6 by Samad and RR lost the game .
Captain Samson was disappointed on over stepping
“This is what IPL gives you, matches like these makes the IPL special. You can never, never, never feel like you have won the game. I knew any opponent can win it and they were batting well too, but I was confident with Sandeep . He has won us a game from a similar situation . He did it again today but that no-ball ruined our result. We played really well with the bat to put up that kind of a score on this wicket, but I think they batted really sensibly, credit has to go to them for the way they batted. Nothing much, it’s a no ball, just have to bowl it again as simple as that, you don’t think about it too much. Sandeep knows what to do but I think that’s the nature of this game, you can’t step the line at that point of time”
