Shubman Gill has entered into the list of Indian players who scored a century in all formats of cricket

The young emerging batting talent from team India Shubman Gill has secured his name among the Indian players who have scored centuries in every format of cricket in their career. His unbeaten 126 runs against New Zealand in Ahmedabad is India’s highest T20I score by a batsman. Virat Kohli was the holder of this record, he scored 122 not out against Afghanistan during last year’s Asia Cup in Dubai.

Furthermore, Gill is now the highest scorer batsman against New Zealand in T20Is, breaking the record of Richard Levi’s unbeaten 117 runs from the South African team back in 2012 at Seddon Park.

He is now the youngest player with an age of 23 years and 146 days to score a century from team India in T20Is. Suresh Raina was the previous youngest 23 years and 156 days of age when he became the 1st Indian to score a T20 international century while playing against South Africa in the 2010 T20 World Cup.

Ahmed Shehzad from Pakistan is the youngest to hold the record of scoring a century in T20I- he was just 22 years and 127 days old when he smashed a T20I century against Bangladesh in 2014.
