According to the recent ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings, Virat Kohli has fallen one step down the ladder but still maintains his position in top 10, while Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma have risen. Shreyas Iyer too has dropped down a notch. Gill has climbed to position six.
The ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings have improved for Team India’s starting pitcher Shubman Gill and skipper Rohit Sharma. Shubman Gill moved up two spots to land at number six in the most recent rankings, which were updated on January 24. Meanwhile, captain Rohit moved up two spots and re-entered the top-10 ODI batsmen list. Virat Kohli, on the other side, dropped one spot in this most recent rating. Virat recently played well in a three-match ODI series versus Sri Lanka, but he struggled against New Zealand in the same series and dropped in the rankings as a result.
Virat Kohli dropped one spot and is now ranked seven. The ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings from India are now Gill’s best rating at the same time. Rohit is at position 9, two spots behind Gill, while Gill is now in sixth place. Captain of Pakistan Babar Azam is still in first place. Quinton Dickock continues to be in third place, while Rassie van der Dussen is still in second.
