Smith recently announced joining an “exceptional team” in India and has now joined the expert panel of Star Sports for the cash-rich T20 league. In the video, the 33-year-old Australian cricketer revealed that he is joining the IPL 2023 and will be part of an exceptional and passionate team in India.

Smith, who has captained M.S. Dhoni in an IPL campaign where they played the final for Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017, is also the only overseas player to have achieved this feat. He has been a part of two successful World Cup campaigns with Australia.
