Suryakumar Yadav with another fabulous inning against Sri Lanka in the 3rd T20 match

Initially, Hardik Pandya, the India captain, had won the toss and decided to bat first against the reigning Asian champions Sri Lanka. Suryakumar Yadav proved another time that he is the number one T20 batter currently. He struck a brilliant hundred as India defeated Sri Lanka by 91 runs in the final T20 international match to win the three-match series 2-1 this Saturday. He (sky) contributed an unbeaten 112 runs off just 51 balls as India put a huge target of 228 runs on the board for five wickets after opting to bat first.

Even though India lost Ishan Kishan (1) too early but the runs of Shubman Gill (46), Rahul Tripathi (35) and Suryakmar damaged the opponents with a barrage of big hits and boarding a huge total of 228 runs at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

In chasing the target, Sri Lanka was bowled out for 137 in 16.4 overs and failed to win this series. Kusal Mendis and Dasun Shanaka made 23 runs each. Arshdeep Singh took three wickets and made a strong comeback in Rajkot. In this way, India won these three T20 matches series by 2-1.
