Sussex has confirmed the signing of Australia’s Steve Smith

Steve Smith on a short-term deal signs for three Championship games with Sussex that will be played in May.

“I’m amped up for joining Sussex for a couple of games in May and ideally making a commitment to a fruitful season,” Smith said.

“I’m especially anticipating working with the more youthful players in the crew and trusting I can give a direction to them.”

Sussex Cricket Chief, Ransack Andrew, said: “We are excited to have Steve Smith accessible for our Region Title matches in May.
