India set a goal of 386 runs for New Zealand while batting first. In return, the Kiwi squad could only muster 295 runs, losing the game. Team India played both superb batting and bowling. Amazing century were played by Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma. By capturing Santner off a ball bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal, Virat Kohli put an end to New Zealand’s innings. In 29 balls, Santner scored 34 runs.

Speaking of the game, Shubman Gill once again emerged victorious. In the three-match series, the young batsman displayed incredible talent and set a record by scoring 360 runs. In the first ODI, Gill achieved a double century and a fantastic century. For this effort, he was also given the title of “Player of the Match.”
