Tilak Varma
Tilak Varma, an Indian cricket player, was born on November 8, 2002.On December 30, 2018, he made his first-class debut for Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy for the 2018–19 season. On February 28, 2019, he played his first Twenty20 match for Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the 2018–19 season. On September 28, 2019, he made his List A debut for Hyderabad in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
He was included in India’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2019. He was purchased by the Mumbai Indians in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League competition in February 2022.

Domestic career
He has participated in 25 List A games, and 7 first-class games. In five games at the 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 180 runs and claimed four wickets. He had a strike rate of 147.26 runs per game and scored 215 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournament in 2019. Varma represented India in the U19 World Cup in 2020.

He was acquired by Mumbai Indians for 1.7 crore despite stiff competition from Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, and Rajasthan Royals in the Auction. He is a middle order batsman for MI and he is doing good for himself and the team.
