The match between Lucknow Super Gaints and Royal Challenger Bangalore was a low scoring match and RCB successfully defend the target of mere 127. Post the match Virat Kohli, Gambhir and Naveen encountered in a heated conversation and it looked nowhere a gentleman game.

Virat Kohli- His Aggressions Day

RCB gave the target of just 127 to LSG. Before winning by 18 runs RCB player Virat Kohli was pumped up through out the second innings and he was literally asking LSG fans to shut their mouth with a symbol. He was also exchanging words with LSG batters and giving deadly stares on Naveen ul Haq. His animated celebration after the wickets and was in his beast aggression mode.

Scored 31 of 30 balls with bat and Virat made his contribution in a low scoring pitch. As a t2O perspective that was not a good score in any given day but that was ok  for what the match turned out and RCB won the match.

How all this started- to know- have to go to the first encounter of RCB and LSG in IPL 2023

Contrast to the last night game ,the earlier encounter of RCB and LSG was a high scoring game. In M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB gave the 200+ target and failed to defend. After the match LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir turn to Bangalore audience and asked to shut up with the symbol. And he literally give air to fire that later could be seen in their second encounter in Ekana Cricket Stadium.

It was an act of giving back to LSG in their own den by Kohli and thus Gambhir and co. were not pleased with the animated behavior of Virat and thus dispute started.

Failed to maintain- spirit of the game

Sometimes it is not always who is right and who is the wrong one. Game should always be played within the merit. If there is some heated moment by any chance and it can happen anytime in the game. But that’s on field player’s responsibility to settle the matter right there and maintain the dignity of the game.

In RCB vs LSG game ,players breach the level 2 code of conduct of IPL and thus they were fined. Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir fined 100% of their match fee that amounts Rs 1.07 cr and Rs 25 lakh respectively while Naveen Ul Haq was fined 50% of his match fee.
