Washington Sundar-Another player to be ruled out -Injured-IPL 2023
Another Day Another Player ruled out of injury from IPL 2023. This time Indian Spinner allrounder and the player of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Washington Sundar out of the Tournament. Injury in the hamstring pushed Sundar out of the tournament. SRH officials announced this unfortunate news on Thursday 27 April 2023.

In a twitter post Sunrisers Hyderabad announced that spinner allrounder Sundar ruled out of IPL 2023. They captioned the post with Washinton Sundar’s picture – “Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the IPL 2023 due to a hamstring injury. Speedy recovery, Washi.” Sundar joined the team last year. In 2022 auction Sundar was picked by SRH with whopping amount of RS 8.25 crore. This is not the first time Washi being injured and ruled out. Even in the last edition he was ruled out of IPL due to split webbing in his bowling hand.

Sundar played his first match of IPL in 2017. He was part of Rising Pune Supergiant. In 2018 he was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore and became important member of the side. He played 3 years till 2021 for RCB. In 2022 he was picked by SRH. From 2017 to 2023 he played 58 matches and took 36 wickets and scored 378 runs in total.
