India won the three matches T20 series by defeating New Zealand in the 3rd T20 International

After winning the toss by Hardik Pandya, Team India decided to bat first and scored a massive total of 234/4 in 20 overs after Shubman Gill smashed an unbeaten 126* off 63 balls and was awarded The Player of the Match. Rahul Tripathi also contributed 44 runs off 22 balls. It was a real test for Kiwis batters to chase this huge total under a pressure situation.

While chasing the massive target, Kiwis batters couldn’t help their team to even close to the target, instead, they were all out on just 66 runs in 12.1 overs. Daryle Mitchell contributed 35 runs on 25 balls but couldn’t end the game as no one was standing with him on the wicket. Hardik Pandya took four wickets leading his team from the front and destroying New Zealand’s batting line-up and nominated Player of the Series for his wonderful performance, while Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, and Shivam Mavi scalped two wickets each as the Kiwis were all out for 66 runs only.

Hence, as a result, India secured a 168-run win in the 3rd T20I against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With this win, Team India touched the victory line for the three-match series 2-1.
