Who has Most 50+Scores in IPL; Hint: It’s not Kohli

Indian Premiere League has been a batsman favorite, with batting friendly pitches and short boundaries, world’s leading batsmen have piled heaps of runs in the league. IPL has served as a breeding ground for batters and has produced many leading names in the circuit including the likes of Virat Kohli, PP Shaw, Ishan Kishan and Glenn Maxwell.  

So the question now remains that which batsman over the course of fifteen years has scored most half centuries. Many would believe that it has to be Virat Kohli, the veteran RCB batsman, however he ranks third on the list with 49 50+ scores. However, Kohli ranks first on the list of most 50+ scores from one franchise in IPL.

Second on the list is Shikhar Dhawan who also has 49 50’s with an average of slightly over 35 and a strike rate of 126. Number one spot belongs to David Warner who is clearly way ahead of his contemporaries and has amassed 59 fifties in his IPL career. Other notable entries of this list are
