Zimbabwe won the 1st T20I match against Ireland single-handedly

Zimbabwe’s bowling line-up proved effective against Ireland in their 1st T20 international match. Ryan Burl from Zimbabwe’s side took 3 wickets for 29 runs and contributed a crucial role in resisting the Irish batting line-up to score a fighting total. The whole Irish cricket team was able to score only 114 runs against Zimbabwe’s bowling attack.

Ireland’s team tried their best in defending the total with the ball, but the damage done with the bat didn’t help them to do so. Zimbabwe chased this total easily in 18 overs, losing five wickets. Sean Williams scored unbeaten 34 runs playing 30 balls and was the top scorer from Zimbabwe’s batting side. Ryan Burl was awarded the player of the match for his fabulous performance with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 29 runs.
